(1) Intelligent distribution cabinets can collect more electrical data
In addition to being similar to ordinary distribution cabinets, intelligent distribution cabinets can also collect electrical quality data such as harmonics, the on/off status and current status of distribution cabinet sub circuits, and the status of grounding and lightning protection equipment, in addition to collecting voltage and current of the main distribution circuit through electricity meters. The collection of the above data requires the addition of more sensors and transmitter equipment in addition to ordinary electricity meters and main voltage and current transformers for data collection.
The data collected by the current intelligent distribution cabinet usually includes the voltage, current, harmonics of the incoming line, the on/off status of the sub circuit, the current of the sub circuit, the status of grounding and lightning protection equipment, and some require additional temperature collection inside the distribution cabinet to collect fault warning information. The display of collected data can be displayed locally through the power meter and dedicated display screen, or remotely sent to the monitoring system through RS485 and Ethernet interfaces.
